Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE.N) has announced the appointment of Marie Myers, the current finance chief at HP Inc (HPQ.N), as its incoming Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 15.
Myers, known for her role as HP’s finance lead during the separation of Hewlett-Packard Co in 2015, has been serving as CFO at the PC maker since 2021. She will take over from Tarek Robbiati, who departed in August to join cloud communications provider RingCentral (RNG.N).
Following a recent lackluster forecast for the current quarter, indicating cutbacks in IT spending across the industry, analysts anticipate a recovery in the coming year.
Jeremy Cox, who stepped in as interim CFO, is set to resume his previous role as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Chief Tax Officer at HPE.
Meanwhile, HP, facing challenges within the slower PC market recovery, has appointed Timothy Brown as its interim CFO. Brown, having held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance since November 2021, will take on this new role within HP.
