LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, has introduced a new feature that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate posts for its users. The feature, called “AI Post Generation,” allows members to create AI-generated posts by providing a concise 30-word prompt.
To use the feature, users simply need to go to the “Share” box on LinkedIn and enter a 30-word prompt. The AI will then generate a draft post based on the prompt. The user can then review, edit, and personalize the draft before clicking the “Post” button.
The AI Post Generation feature is designed to help users save time and effort when creating posts. It can also be used to help users generate more engaging and informative posts. For example, the AI can be used to generate posts that include relevant hashtags, statistics, or links to other resources.
LinkedIn is currently testing the AI Post Generation feature with a limited number of users. The company plans to roll out the feature to all users in the coming months.
In a blog post announcing the new feature, Keren Baruch, Director of Product at LinkedIn, said, “We know that writing posts can be time-consuming, especially if you’re trying to come up with a creative idea or share a complex thought. That’s why we’re excited to introduce AI Post Generation, which can help you generate a first draft of your post in seconds.”
Baruch added that the AI Post Generation feature is still under development, but the company is “confident that it can help you save time and effort, and ultimately help you share your ideas with the world.”
The AI Post Generation feature is just one of the ways that LinkedIn is using AI to improve its platform. In recent years, the company has also launched AI-powered features for job search, profile optimization, and recruiter outreach.
As AI continues to evolve, it is likely that we will see even more innovative ways for LinkedIn to use AI to help its users connect with others, find jobs, and advance their careers.
