The screenshots show that users will be able to pin a message by long-pressing it and then tapping on the “Pin” icon. Once a message is pinned, users will see a timer icon next to it. This icon will show how much time is left before the message unpins.
Users will be able to set the timer for any period of time, from 1 minute to 1 year. Once the timer expires, the message will automatically unpin and will no longer be visible at the top of the chat list.
