Apple Set to Unveil Vision Pro Augmented Reality Headset on January 26, Retail Availability Expected in February

Apple appears to be gearing up for the debut of its pioneering Augmented Reality headset, the Vision Pro, with a potential launch date of January 26. This eagerly anticipated device, unveiled at last year’s WWDC event in June, is expected to hit select markets like the US in early 2024, sporting a price tag of $3,499 (roughly Rs 2,89,000).

Renowned Apple analyst Mark Gurman responded to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by MacRumors, affirming the anticipated launch date of the Vision Pro on January 26. Gurman further hinted that consumers could expect availability in retail stores sometime in February.

Fueled by Apple’s in-house developed M2 chip, which also powers their iPad and MacBook lineup, the Vision Pro will operate on visionOS, allowing users to control applications using gestures, voice commands, and eye movements.

Gurman’s insights align with Ming-Chi Kuo’s report, suggesting that Apple’s spatial computing device will hit the market in early February, albeit initially in limited markets, excluding India but including retail availability in the United States.
