By Nokia’s budget-friendly 4G feature phones continue to capture the attention of consumers, and the company is elevating their appeal by introducing more functionality to these candy bar-style devices. While the market has witnessed the emergence of smart feature phones offering access to apps like WhatsApp and Facebook, Nokia is enhancing its Cloud platform, particularly on the Nokia 110 4G and Nokia 106 4G phones.
The latest updates on the Cloud platform enable users to access various applications after logging in through their Google ID. Notably, Nokia’s feature phones already boast the capability to perform UPI payments via the UPI 123PAY feature. Additionally, these devices provide weather updates, news, cricket scores, and the ability to watch YouTube Shorts videos and play games like 2048 Game and Tetris, all supported by 4G mobile data.
Despite the Nokia 106 4G featuring a compact 1.8-inch QVGA display, seemingly modest for video streaming, similar phones have successfully accommodated these features. Powered by the System 30+ OS, it offers FM Radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and a microUSB port for charging. The device houses a 1,450mAh battery. In the market, the Nokia 110 4G is priced at Rs 2,399, while the Nokia 106 4G comes at Rs 2,199.
